Prop House

How We Curate

Design Philosophy

The Standard

We believe every piece that enters a prop catalogue should earn its place.

Not because it is cheap, or trendy, or easy to source - but because it serves the event professional who will rely on it, the client who will photograph in front of it, and the space it inhabits for an evening.

This is the discipline behind every piece we stock. Some we source after months of searching. Some we reject immediately. Most we photograph extensively before we commit to stocking at scale.

Curation Criteria

Four Tests. Every Piece.

Visual Impact

01

Does this piece command attention in a room? Will it look as strong on camera as it does in person? We photograph every piece before committing to stock.

Versatility

02

Can a decorator use this across different event themes and settings without it feeling out of place? We prioritise pieces that work across wedding, corporate, and hospitality contexts.

Quality at Scale

03

Will this piece withstand the demands of professional use - packaging, repeated handling, transport? Anything that cannot hold up to repeated event-day use does not enter the catalogue.

Aesthetic Coherence

04

Does this fit within the visual language of contemporary Indian event design, while being distinctive enough to elevate it? We curate with a consistent eye, not just any piece that is available.

Why It Matters

This discipline is why decorators trust us. Not because we have the most SKUs, but because every SKU we carry is worth considering.

When you browse the Prop House catalogue, you are not wading through a warehouse dump. You are looking at a curated selection - built by people who have decorated events themselves and know what works.
