The Beginning
Prop House began with a problem we kept running into: sourcing was harder than designing.
Anyone who has styled a wedding or a launch knows the routine. Suppliers scattered across three cities. Quality that changes between orders. No catalogue worth the name. And the phone that stops being answered in the week you actually need it.
So we built the alternative. We travel to the source, select every piece ourselves, and bring it into Kolkata in limited runs - pieces that photograph well, survive repeated use, and leave a decorator room to make a margin.
The catalogue we always wished existed. That is Prop House.

We do not order from photographs. Every piece in the catalogue was selected in person at the trade markets we buy from, which is why the quality is consistent between orders.
Limited Runs
We import in small quantities rather than deep bulk. It means your installation does not look like the one three venues away - and when a design sells out, it is genuinely gone.
Stocked in Kolkata
Everything ships from our own Kolkata facility. No drop-shipping, no ninety-day import wait between you and a confirmed event date.
